Today I:
Wrote semester end comments for all my students
Backed up my computers and external hard drives and migrated to a new work computer
Did laundry
Made lotus pancakes for dinner
Finished knitting the first sleeve on a sweater I’m making
Exercised
Figured out how to clean my bag
Sent out my dry cleaning
Got Hermes an appointment at the groomers
Got to see pictures of my newest cousin…
It was a good day!

…and a really nasty subway ride, and was greeted by this lovely dinner when I went up to Char and Josh’s. It was so delicious!

This afternoon around 4, Nicole and Sydney headed back. I had an awesome time this past week!

Calling home in the morning..,

In the afternoon we went out for a little coffee break…

…and appreciated Christmas trees made from pink teddy bears…

…and visited the worlds largest outdoor tv screen.

We went to Din Tai Feng for a dim sum lunch!

And then after Christmas shopping we headed to Atmosphere, a cafe on the 80th floor of Guo Mao.

Where we had awesome cheesecake and fruit salad!
